About RedShift
Professional Services for the Conceptual Economy
I founded RedShift in 1999 because I saw a gap at the convergence of the management consulting and the training/coaching industries. I determined that space could be best filled by an entrepreneurial, creative generalist, focused on the intersection of business, self-awareness and life direction. So I designed and developed a series of practical programs to fill that gap and to help people change, grow and increase their influence in an increasingly conceptual economy and connected world.
I think of a conceptual economy as one in which self-awareness, creativity, right-brain thinking and exceptional people skills are as valued and critical to success as are traditional functional, analytical, managerial and technical skills and abilities. The increasingly rapid pace of outsourcing, automation and networks that shorten the paths of social and business communication are both cause and effect of these global economic and communication shifts.
Individuals and professionals at all levels are continually reminded of the downside, the negative and the fear. My purpose is to inspire people about the upside, to help them prepare for the mostly "yet to be defined" opportunties, and to help them re-direct their beliefs about and responses to the huge changes they're witnessing and experiencing.
The RedShift programs are more than theory. They're applicable to problems and decisions that need to be made now. They also support the skills and competencies learning embodiment that opens the personal or organizational portal to a more influential, purposeful and rewarding direction and experience.

Mary Wynne-Wynter, RedShift Founder
I'm committed to helping people with change and to creating a continually evolving content and communications model for making my programs and shared learning as accessible and affordable to as many people and businesses as possible.
I most enjoy projects that call for my abilities and intelligence at every level: business, technical, creative, emotional and cognitive.
I'm a champion master rower and I can be found most very early mornings on the Charles River - training, racing and tracking the competition.
